Authorities issue a warning; This comes after the recent and rampant muggings that are ongoing in the towns of Kenya.
Speaking to the media, Central DCIO Jason Mworia noted that spreading this videos, is the first step to glorifying and promoting criminals.
He stated,”When we circulate them, we are glorifying the criminals. You can send it to an individual police officer, or a small group to check but let us not send it before you confirm what it is.”
Regarding the insecurity status in the country, DCIO Jason stated that authorities are on the ground working against this criminals.
He further issued a warning to all criminals operating in the central business district, mugging and terrifying citizens, to desist or the authorities will catch up with them.
He stated,”The town is secure. Those who want to test the capability of the police, please be warned that we are equal to the task.”
“The officers you see in uniform, I can tell you without fear or contradiction, that we have double the personnel in civilian attire,” he added.
