In an attempt to reduce the worries of the unpredictable weather conditions during the exams, CS Machogu has written a letter, to the Environment CS Soipan Tuya
The letter read,”In order to properly and comprehensively plan for this exercise, kindly provide us with a weather advisory covering the said period.”
“This will enable us to anticipate weather changes and equip our team with adequate information to effectively deliver the examination,”it added.
The CS further highlighted the candidates living with disabilities, under the Competence based curriculum, will be accorded special treatment, to make sure they do their exams smoothly.
The special needs will be assessed through the Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (Kilea).
Additionally, the cabinet secretary maintained that the government will stick to the timetable; All candidates should be sitted in the examination rooms as from 8 Am.
He further echoed the banning of issuance of extra exam papers from unauthorised sources and removal of empty desks from the exam room, if a candidate fails to show up.

The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) is expected to start from Monday, November 28 to Wednesday, November 30 while KCSE will start on Friday, December 2 to Friday, December 23.
