Uproar on the socials after Sakaja’s directive of no night clubs in residential areas.
An uproar on the socials has sparked in response to The governor of Nairobi’s directive of banning clubs in residentials.
Kithinji reacted,”Sakaja saying he doesn’t want night clubs in residential areas, in a city where urban planning is nonexistent. A city where a school is next to a hospital, bar is next to church, the church is next to an apartment that is next to a local bus stage which is next to a dumping site.”
David Mwangi stated,” I find it ironically hilarious that the same Sakaja who was arrested for drinking past curfew hours during the covid lockdowns is the same chap who has ordered the crackdown on clubs in residential areas. It’s not as though he was arrested in some club in the CBD.“
Kenya critic reacted,”Mr Sakaja, you can’t wake up one evening and start closing people’s businesses and hustles like that. It’s wrong.
Those businesses exist because they were given permits by the County government of Nairobi. Legally.”
Quincy commented,”Best Clubs is Nairobi are located out of CBD. Come 2027, the club cartels will fight to finish Governor Sakaja. Just like Mt Kenya chose to ‘punish Uhuru’ I foresee a situation where the youth will turn up in large numbers just to send Gov Sakaja home.”
Post Carlone commented,”Sakaja’s priorities are extremely misplaced, raiding nightclubs while there’s serious issues like insecurity and sanitation at hand.
We are doomed.”
Babavos reacted,”Sakaja doing everything to make himself a one term governor. Beautiful scenes.”
Teddy posed,” Governor Sakaja… night clubs and churches… churches have become a menace noise pollution they operate like they’re above the law, are they?“
Konkidii commented,”police chasing out people out of clubs due to sakaja ..THIS IS A LOST NATION ..WAFUNGE ATA KANISA.”
