Special National Assembly meeting that will approve nomination of the commission of revenue allocation.
Moses Wetangula is expected to presided over a special National Assembly meeting that is meant to address the issue of nominees to the revenue allocation committee.
Earlier, the legislators had started their Christmas holiday on 2nd December.
However, Wetangula stated that the sitting was necessary for the members of parliament and the general public.
The notice read,”It is hereby notified to all the members of the National Assembly and the general public that December 8 has been appointed as the day for the special sittings. The sittings will be held at the main parliament buildings commencing 10 am and 2:30 pm.”
The pressing issues include; special motion to approve the nominees for appointment to the Commission of Revenue Allocation (CRA) and handing over of urgent messages from the Executive or the Senate.
Others include ; the first reading of the Statute Law (Miscellaneous amendments Bill) 2022, consideration of a report from the committee of the delegated legislation and approval of NGCDF committee members for various constituencies.
