Provide them with refreshments- Ndindi Nyoro’s plea to the president.
Kiharu member of parliament, Ndindi Nyoru has suggested that the president drafts a bill that will cater for refreshments in Azimio la umoja rallies.
In his speech at the interdenominational church service in Nyandarua County on Sunday, December 11, Nyoro said that the opposition has the right to protest because that is part of their oversight role.
He stated,”I want to request the president to give us permission as Members of Parliament, to put in place some funds so that when they go for the protests, the government can provide them with refreshments.”
“The protest in peace, they are provided with refreshments and go back home,” he added.
Nyoro also took the opportunity to thank the president for the inclusivity of Nyandarua, in his allocation of Cabinet and principal secretaries
He stated,”We have a Cabinet Secretary and Permanent Secretary from Nyandarua county and I know there are a lot of things that are already on the way.”
He further commended the president for fulfilling his hustler fund promise to Kenyans, that has been a huge boost to those who are seeking to start business and small business owners.
He stated,”As we talk now, the hustler fund is our with billions of shillings that have been lent to the Kenyan people.”
He also expressed his gratitude for the hiring of more teachers by the teachers service commission in primary and secondary schools in Kenya.
