The President never speaks in vain- Mudavadi speaks on Chebukati’s murder plot allegations.
Kenya ‘s prime cabinet secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, has stated that the allegations president William Ruto made on Chebukati’s murder plot, will be revealed in due time.
In his interview at NTV , he was asked whether the government has been able to identify the suspects behind the murder plot; Mudavadi stated that, the president can not make such allegations on false grounds.
He stated,”The President never speaks in vain. We should appreciate that. All I can tell you is that time will tell. I cannot predict how long the process will take, but I can tell you that time will tell.”
Additionally, he challenged Kenyans to ask themselves why this happened, including the 2007-2008 post election violence.
He stated,”As a people, we must ask ourselves how this should never happen again. What happened in 2007 (Post Election Violence) was forgotten. We need soul-searching moments.”
President Ruto making claims that There was a murder plot on Chebukati, has raised a lot of controversial stories especially from the Azimio side.
Nairobi senator commented,”I’m hoping the people making them will appear before the yet-to-be-formed commission of inquiry and provide the evidence backing these allegations.”
Azimio la umoja deputy, Martha Karua also stated that the current government is trying so hard to be legitimate.
Senator Ledama commented,”Mr. President @WilliamsRuto to end all conspiracy theories and the talk on the IEBC debacles, let’s cut to the chase! Set up a Commission of inquiry and extend it to cover the last two elections! ….People are glorifying Chebukati as if he is a saint.”
