Kenyans have moved on- DP Gachagua holds consultation meetings with ODM MPs.
Taking it to his official twitter account, Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua revealed that he held consultation meetings with orange democratic movement members of parliament.
He stated that Ruto’s administration will not leave anyone behind because of their political afiliation, development will reach everyone.
He stated,”Ruto Administration is clear that no one will be left behind in development. Elections are over, and Kenyans have moved on.”
”In this regard, I held consultations with ODM MPs Phelix Oduor (Lang’ata), Mark Nyamita (Uriri), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem) Paul Abuor (Rongo), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo) and Prof Tom Ojienda (Senator, Kisumu County) on their development priority programmes,” he added.
He added that this will not be the last time he is holding meetings with the legislators from the opponent party.
He stated,”Together with the legislators and CS for ICT @EliudOwalo and Principal Secretary for Interior Raymond Omollo, we agreed on continuous engagements with the legislators, and indeed leaders from all parts of the country irrespective of political or any other affiliation.”
This comes days after Azimio la umoja allies complained because their lawmakers visited president Ruto in statehouse.
Raila stated that Ruto wants to turn this nation into a dictatorship and do away with multipartism.
The members of parliament meeting up with Gachagua has raised a lot of reactions.
Pato commented,”This will end up very badly..By the constitution, development is every Kenyan’s right, & the responsibility of the national parliament to mediate. it does not come from parleying with statehouse.. I though an induction was undertaken for all legislators? ”
Colonel expressed,”What’s the nature of this developments? Opaque! Let @WilliamsRuto visit all constituencies and initiate developments. Hii upuzii mnafanya is tired, the late Moi and his DOs used the stunts and no meaningful developments was realised.”
