We must tell Uhuru to come out and join us- Section of leaders dare Uhuru Kenyatta.
Naivasha member of parliament, Jayne Kihara has dared Uhuru Kenyatta to also come out on monday and protest.
She stated that Uhuru made it clear during a rally in Siaya that Raila is his party leader, he should come out and support him.
She stated,”We must tell Uhuru that if he is not in this part of these maandamanos, he should come out. We have heard him say that Raila is still his leader and his President.”
“So what we are saying is that our former President, if you have a hand in these protests (maandamanos) come out! Come out and talk,” she added.
On the other hand, Nyandarua senator, Kaba Methu, suggested that Gachagua should allow UDA and Azimio allies to have a sit down before they go to the streets.
Methu stated,”You should allow us one day to engage with Azimio legislators and debunk their push for nationwide protests.”
“If they speak about Raila only, that will be okay. If they do not recognise you as the deputy president, then the meeting will end,” methu added.
Azimio la umoja leader, Raila Odinga is already adding fuel and promised not to stand down. Today he wrote to the police urging them not to cause disruptions.
