UASU ex- chair Muga K’ Olale passes on.
UASU ex- chair Muga K’ Olale , the longest serving chair in the union of university lecturers, has died.
He died while receiving treatment at Matata Nursing Home in Oyugis town, Homa Bay County, on Saturday evening.
According to preliminary report, The late Olale has been in the health care facility since March 21, seriously ill.
One Matron stated,”He had been at the hospital for some time. We condole with his family. This is a great loss.”
Muga chaired Universities Academic Staff Union (Uasu) up until his resignation in July 2021, when he was co-opted into the union.
Nakuru lawyer and Kisii University law lecturer Grace Nyongesa, succeeded him.
