We must win any election by a simple majority- UDA’s countrywide coverage.
Yesterday, Deputy Party Leader, H.E Rigathi Gachagua joined the Chairperson, Hon. Gov. Cecily Mbarire and Deputy Chairperson, Hon. Omar Hassan and Cleophas Malala for a consultative meeting with UDA Party’s 47 County Coordinators.
The meeting converged to lay strategy forthcoming grassroot member mobilisation drive as well as the popularization of UDA.
UDA’s secretary General, Cleophas Malala announced that Former Migori Governor, Hon. Okoth Obado defected into the ruling party.
Obado expressed,” I am glad to be part of this great Party.UDA is not just a Party for today, but one meant to live beyond time. I feel at home.”
Malala highlighted that they underscored the need for the top party leadership to continously consult with grassroot representatives to ensure growth and stability of the United Democratic Alliance Part.
Malala stated,” As UDA, our target is to hit 15 Million members by 2027.We must win any election by a simple majority pegged on the weight of our membership.”
On his part, UDA’s vice chairperson Hon. Omar Hassan stated their political opponents must be reminded that they are ready to defend their party Leader, his Deputy and the government against their maandamano protests. He highlighted that their kindness is not a weakness.
On the same issue, the Chairperson, Hon. Gov. Cecily Mbarire, stated that UDA under the Leadership of the SG, Sen. Cleophas Malalah, is keen on entrenching itself deep into the grassroot level.
Notably, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua stated that they are on course to building the largest political party in the country.
He stated,”A strong UDA Kenya party is critical in driving the Kenya Kwanza Administration’s agenda as we rebuild our economy with our partner parties. We will continue injecting new energy into our party towards our objectives of a national outfit.We welcome all those who are keen to join us as we build a huge movement that will transform Kenya.”
