Azimio launches IP- enabled spy cameras; The cameras will be situated at different locations across the country to monitor anyone who will cause chaos during the protest.
National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi revealed that the coalition had put in place a secure web platform to be used by azimio la umoja allies.
They stated,”All those that intend to cause mayhem will also be captured through a number of our IP-enabled spy cameras that will transmit to our cloud servers in real time.”
“In the face of real threat to the free media, Kenyans need a secure web platform where members of the public are invited to post occurrences,” they added.
Wandayi further stated that this cameras will be able to capture real time activities that will be streamed and Kenyans will know the occurrence of events.
Wandayi stated,”This material will be available for the world to see. This will enable us to keep the public and all stakeholders informed of progress and real-time occurrences across the country.”
This comes after IG Koome stated that tomorrow’s protests and subsequent demos are illegal and therefore banned.
He however, stated that the police will do their job, If Azimio goes ahead and defies the orders not to go into the streets.
Koome stated,”People are allowed to come to the city. However, if you have plans to bring violence and if you are armed with offensive weapons you will face the music.”
