Detectives summon Yesu wa Tongaren over controversial teachings.
Detectives summon Yesu wa Tongaren; This comes after there were allegations of questionable teachings in his church.
Speaking to the media, Wekesa aka Yesu wa Tongaren, issued a plea to the police not to arrest him, citing that he had done nothing but preach the word of God.
He urged the police to redirect their energy on capturing lawbreakers.
He stated,”I know the police commander who has summoned me is a human being. I understood that he wants us to discuss church operations. I’ve been at the DC, OCS, and OCPD offices and nothing has happened. I have no other business other than preaching the word.”
“It would be unfair if they arrested me since the law punishes those who are on the wrong side. If you have done no wrong, then why be arrested?” He posed.
According to preliminary reports, Yesu wa Tongaren has been encouraging his followers not to return home, but instead, camp at his house, the rightful place.
The police statement read,”We have received reports that one of your followers who didn’t return home after coming to your place. “We also heard about another follower who, after her husband died, came to live at your place until the day they buried him. Such actions will not be allowed.”
However, Mr. Wekesa has refuted the claims and deemed them to be false.
He stated,”All those allegations are lies. All of you have come to this place multiple times and have witnessed what I do.”
