DP Gachagua and I are not enemies- Sakaja.
DP Gachagua and I are not enemies; Nairobi county governor, Johnson Sakaja has clarified that him and the second in command are not in bad terms.
Speaking at a church service today, he affirmed that Dp Gachagua has been a great boss and mentor to him, and never have they been enemies.
Hon. Sakaja revealed that they have an agenda as Kenya kwanza coalition, and being on bad terms with the Deputy president is not on his list.
He stated,”Being a Deputy President is not easy, Gachagua is my boss and mentor, we will work together because we have an agenda in Kenya Kwanza.”
” Saa hii wakituona tunacheka na yeye, wanaskia kiwaru,” he added.
Being that Hon. Gachagua has been a good mentor to him, Sakaja urged the second in command, to also mentor others like the youth in different parts of the country.
He stated,”As the Deputy President, mentor all the youths. Don’t be limited, you’re bigger than just Central Province, youth from Rift Valley, Western, and Kakamega need your mentorship.”
The rumors of them being enemies , started last year, when Sakaja announced that long-distance matatu will be relocated from the CBD to Green Park terminus.
The DP reiterated stating Hon. Sakaja should have had discussions with him before making the order, because the directive will affect the people from central Kenya.
He warned Sakaja against such implementations saying people from mount Kenya , together with their businesses will suffer.
