Give President Ruto and his government a chance to plan work, It’s too early for protests- Barchok to Raila.
Bomet Governor, Hillary Barchok , has called upon the opposition leader, Raila Odinga, to halt the mass action that he’s planning countrywide.
He opined that president Ruto has been in office for a short time and he’s trying figure things out, he should be given time.
He added that it takes time to clean all the mess that is in the system.
Barchok stated,”This government that we have, has been in office for almost six months, and we would like to give President Ruto and his government a chance to plan work that will reach the people in the right way.”
“Some of the messes that we have within the system will take us time to correct,” he added.
Hon. Barchok further pointed fingers at Raila stating that things started going wrong, when he left his oversight role during Uhuru regime and joined the executive.
He stated,” I would like to tell Raila, some of these things we are experiencing, as Kenyans, he contributed. When he joined the Kenyatta government through what we are describing as a handshake, that’s when things started to go wrong.”
“Because the opposition should always play its role in ensuring that the government is responsible in matters to do with the wellness of citizens,” he added.
The opposition leader, has stood ground that he will not relent until the economy of Kenya takes shape or President Ruto gets out of power.
