I will not be a President who talks a lot – Ruto on purging the corrupt from gov’t.
Speaking at a funeral service in Murang’a County, the head of state affirmed that he will deal with anyone who tries to misuse government resources.
This comes after he fired Public health PS, KEMSA CEO and dissolved the board over a Net Scandal.
The next day, president William Ruto fired KEBS Managing Director Bernard Njiriani and 26 other employees were fired over the distribution of contaminated sugar.
highlighted that citizens’s money was safe in the hands of this government and never will corrupting be tolerated in his era.
He stated,”I have told my friends and those who are not allies. We should continue with our job but we must protect the money collected from Kenyans.”
He also outlined that he was accorded power to punish anyone who tries to agonize the people of Kenya, because he is here to protect.
He stated,”No one will steal money collected from Kenyans as taxes. I shall not allow money Kenyans earned with their sweat to be misused. I have no other obligations, I will deal with you.”
“I will not be a President who talks a lot but I want to assure Kenyans that I will take personal responsibility for the accountability of the resources of the people of Kenya,” he added.
Notably, he sent his heartfelt condolences to the family of David Waweru
He stated,” We lay to rest a father, leader and a teacher who dedicated his life to serving people.David Wawerū Ng’ethe — father to Hon John Kiarie — was a respected, thoughtful and committed leader. Our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends at this difficult moment.
