He said,”We want to say that we will walk this journey together if possible. But we want to make it clear we have not been married by anyone who thinks that they can solely decide to take us here or there.”
Kanini further warned that Kenya kwanza should not take Mt. kenya region lightly, they will offer support to their leader but will not condone deceit.
He said,“It is very early in this marriage but we want say that the signs are very telling.”
The EALA race raised a lot of controversial stories. Kanini Kega was fronted from the region( Mt. Kenya) despite being from Azimio la Umoja.
Kenya kwanza leaders, such as deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, stated that they supported Kega, despite him being from the opposition party.
Gachagua said,”We are mentoring our young leaders and we are preparing them for leadership and for great things ahead because this is our resource and it’s our responsibility to prepare them.”
“Kanini tumeleta jana walikuwa wamepotea, tutaleta kidogo kidogo tunajaribu kurudisha kuwapanga panga mpaka waingie laini,” Gachagua added.
