The interior cabinet secretary, Kithure Kindiki listed as the top performing cabinet secretary ever since they resumed office.
In a survey that was done by TIFA, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki received a 26 percent approval rating followed by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu (10 percent) and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi (four percent).
Sports CS Ababu Namwamba and Agriculture’s Mithika Linturi received three percent each.
The statement read,”In terms of supporters of national coalitions, far fewer supporters of Azimio offered any names at all with the same applying to those who professed to support neither coalition.”
Separately, The survey indicated that currently, the high cost of living is the major problem Kenyans face in their areas of residence which got 48 percent, followed by hunger/drought (25 percent), unemployment (13 percent) and water infrastructure (three percent) among others.
Notably, 17 percent of the respondents indicated that they always or often sleep hungry, with more Azimio than Kenyan Kwanza supporters showing that the condition affected them ( that is 20 percent vs 14 percent respectively).
Cost of fertiliser being subsidized, received a five percent approval rating while enhancing national unity and improving security rounded up the top three with four percent each.
In Completion of infrastructure projects, reducing the cost of basic commodities and extending the electricity grid received a three, three and two percent respectively.
Of the respondents, two per cent expressed their confidence in the reigning president, William Ruto in terms of securing jobs and supporting the vulnerable.
