Miguna Miguna issues conditions for accepting President’s job offer.
Speaking during an interview at NTV, Miguna Miguna issues conditions if at all the president wants to give him a state job.
He stated that if any case he’s to take a state job, it must be legally bound to the constitution and the bill of rights.
Miguna said,”It depends on which government appointment. It would have to be proposed, then I will say if I will take it or not. There are so many things I will not take; for example, I will not take the illegal CAS position.”
For the longest time in the political history, Miguna Miguna has been Ruto’s harshest critic. However, yesterday he defended president Ruto and the directives he’s been making lately.
For instance, he is happy the president disbanded the DCI special service unit, that was cited to be an execution site for innocent Kenyans.
Miguna stated,”He has dismantled the DCI assassination squad, which is very fundamental. When you see a president do that, it is commendable.”
“Ruto galvanised the simple citizens of this country on a programme of transformation when that was not his agenda throughout his political life. This was fresh. You could only oppose it if you’re dishonest. Look at his thirty years of being in power, he has honored my rights, and he did not betray me,”Miguna added.
When asked about Raila, Miguna commented that the morals of people from Nyanza have been destroyed, in the interests of Azimio la Umoja leader, Raila Odinga.
Miguna commented,”It is not just the intellectual values, the integrity aspect of it; the entire economic, social-cultural morals of Luo – Nyanza have been destroyed in pursuit of an individual’s chase for power.”
