Kipruto Ruto, the police commander in Oloitoktok sub-county has revealed new details regarding the murder of Daniel Musyoka.
Daniel Musyoka before he met his untimely death, was a returning officer at the Independent electoral and boundaries commission.
The police has stated that, “ When the police arrived at the scene,we discovered that it was a male body and it was fresh.”
The late Daniel Musyoka had wounds on his arms, according to the police, this indicated a steuggle during the murder.
Further, the police stated that when they thoroughly searched the area, Kilombero forest, his track suit and A masaai ‘shuka’ we found near the river beds.
The Oloitoktok police also put it into word that , it seems the murderers were well informed of the area judging by the positioning of the body of the late , Daniel Musyoka.
He, the commander of police in Oloitoktok further revealed that if the forest was new to the killers, they would not have been able to Manouvre through it up to the river banks.
The body was found by two herders, who reported to the police in Oloitoktok sub-county. The residents stated that, the forest is a notorius area where killers dump dead bodies.
The herder stated,”He was found with his arms and legs folded with bruises on his arms. This is not the first time this has happened here. We discovered him in the hole.”
The authorities have reported that a post mortem will be further conducted to shed light on the murder of the late Daniel Musyoka.
Daniel Musyoka’s body was identified by his two sisters yesterday morning, 16th August 2022 upon missing last week at Embakasi East.
The body was taken to a sub-county hospital waiting to be transferred to a city mortuary.
The authorities have promised to do a thorough investigations to reveal the killers of the late Daniel Musyoka.
