Earlier today a team of multi-agency security personnel from ‘Operation Komesha Uhalifu North Rift’ acting on a tip off, nabbed a notorious highway robber
Accused of a spate of criminal activities linked to banditry attacks and highway robberies in lorogon area, Turkana County.
Gedion Emojong Angelo is also suspected to be the mastermind behind the theft of camels earlier this month in Kalemorok within Logoron area in Turkana East Sub-County.
He has been placed in Kanuk Police Station awaiting necessary police action.”
The National police service has extended its gratitude to citizens who are working with the authorities, to capture bandits.
“As the National Police Service, we extend our gratitude to members of the public for the continuous cooperation and collaboration in our joint efforts of ending crimes, and nabbing criminals.” NPS expressed.
Netizens have reacted to the news, others expressing how the national police service has improved in their work.
One tweep said,”As you have acted swiftly to arrest that criminal, we expect you to bring to justice the killers of Mutuku in Mutha Kitui County. We can’t continue to be raising same concerns about people killed by criminal camel herders who have no respect for lives of Kitui Mutha residents.
Another one commented,”should speak up when the president is belittling the work of police officers who work hard to keep us safe and even lose the life in line of duty. Criminal must carry they own burden. I was arrested by USA and spend almost 5 yrs in illegal detention I don’t blame police.”
