Owner of collapsed Ruaka building arrested at JKIA.
The directorate of criminal investigations has reported that the Owner of collapsed Ruaka building was arrested at JKIA, when she was trying to flee the country.

The owner of a building that collapsed in Ruaka last week was arrested at 2am this morning, as she attempted to flee from the country.
Hawk-eyed sleuths based at the region’s main international gateway, pounced on Jennifer Kamau, 59, minutes before she boarded a flight destined for Texas, in the United of America.
However, following the arrest, the woman was taken ill and rushed to a city hospital by our officers, where she receiving treatment before being arraigned in court.
In the unfortunate incident that occurred in Ruaka on Thursday last week, 2 people lost their lives after a six storey building belonging to the woman collapsed on an adjacent building, while tenants were asleep at around 3am.
At 4am today, another building within Kiambu County collapsed hours after over 100 households were evacuated, thrusting Kiambu County in the national limelight over increased cases of collapsing buildings.
