Raila reveals Uhuru’s stance on the Bipartisan Dialogue.
In a parliamentary meeting that was chaired by the former premier, Raila reveals Uhuru’s stance on a the Bipartisan talks.
Ralla revealed that Azimio la umoja chairman( Uhuru Kenyatta has wished to attend the meeting, but couldn’t because of unavoidable circumstances.
Raila however, highlighted that Uhuru is in full support of the talks and whatever the decided on, he will support.
Raila stated,” I bring apologies from our chairman Uhuru Kenyatta, he wanted to come but he was unable. He said he will support whatever resolution we will make today.”
Notably, the meeting discussed the key matters that are going to be their agenda come the Bipartisan dialogue with the ruling party.
They stated,”The point of reference shall be lowering the cost of unga and electricity, audit of IEBC servers used before, during and after the 2022 elections, reviewing the dismissal of the IEBC four, and for the government to consider restructuring IEBC by devolving it’s structures.”
The opposition leader further unveiled a list of seven members, that will represent the party in the bipartisan talks with those from UDA.
Some of the leaders in the list include;Ledama ole Kina (Narok), Edwin Sifuna (Nairobi) and Enoch Wambua (Kitui), Amina Mnyanzi (Malindi), Millie Odhiambo (Suba North), David Pkosing (Pokot South) and Otiende Amollo (Rarieda).
Raila Odinga, however maintained that if by chance the do not reach an agreement, then he will not have any other choice, apart from leading citizens backs into the streets.
