Sad as two players die after being struck by lightning in a football match at Kisii.

Sad as two players die, in friendly match at Manyansi area, in Kitutu Chache North Constituency, Kisii County.

The two teams, Manyansi FC and Gianchore FC lost a player each in the  Saturday, 4.30 pm incident.

Reporting to the media, Evans Akanga, Kitutu Chache North Football Kenya Federation chair said the players were struck dead during the friendly tournament.

Two other players who sustained injuries are recovering at Nyamira Teaching and Referral Hospital in the emergency department.
