Take care of our laws, handshake is a very bad precedence – Lawmaker advise Ruto.
Speaking on Thursday in Limuru, Lari member of parliament, Kahangara Mburu advised president Ruto not to break the law by accepting the handshake.
He highlighted that a handshake is unconstitutional and president Ruto should not bow to pressure and give the opposition a way to maneuver their way into government.
Mburu stated,” We must take care of our laws. Allowing the creation of a handshake government is a very bad precedence because it will be forcing the losers of other elections to take to the streets to be accommodated in government.”
Mburu further opined that the bipartisan dialogue should be taken seriously for the benefit of Kenyans.
