Waluke’s emotional message to the head of state.
Today, The head of state joined in an interdenominational church service at Nakuru Athletics club in Nakuru county.
During the service, Waluke’s emotional message about his time in jail brought many to tears. The Sirisia Member of parliament gave a heartfelt gratitude to the president, for standing with him throughout the hard times.
Waluke confessed that what scared him most during his time in jail, was the fact that he may never see president William Ruto again.
Waluke stated,”While I was away, I had missed you your Excellency, and the government. I thought I will never be able to interact with you again.”
” I sincerely thank you for giving me the opportunity. I never knew I would get this chance again,” he added.
Waluke further affirmed that he is willing to work with president William Ruto, the reason why he moved out of jubilee party.
Additionally, he stated that he will support every legislation that Kenya kwanza will move to parliament.
He stated,”I want to work with the President and that is why we moved out of Jubilee and we promise to support every legislation the government moves in Parliament.”
Waluke was sentenced to 67 years in jail or an alternative 2 billion shillings, this is after he was found guilty of fraud during his time in the National cereal board.
He was released on November 18th last year, on a cash bail of 10 million that is after spending four months at Kamiti Maximum Security Prison.
