We have no qualms with them doing what they are doing- Ruto praises the opposition’s oversight role.
Speaking today at the interdenominational church service in Nyandarua county, president William Ruto clarified that he has no problem with the rallies the opposition is holding.
He stated that it’s important for the opposition to do their part , as the ruling government is doing theirs.
He stated,”We are doing our best to deliver and so is the opposition. We have no qualms with them doing what they are doing as long as it is guided by patriotism.”
He further explained his proposal for introducing the opposition office, saying, the opposition is an integral part of the country who also deserve to utilize government resources.
He stated,”We want our oversight institutions including the opposition to be empowered so that they ensure that public resources are used appropriately.”
“I believe in an administration that is held accountable because it is the only kind that will bring transformation,” he added.
