Reports have stated that an assistant county commissioner dies after drinking spree in Molo.
This comes after reports of how Molo residents especially the youth are indulging in illicit brew.
The commissioner died after a night of partying and drinking with friends. This comes after four men also lost their lives consuming illicit brew in Molo in August.
The assistant commissioner had traveled to Molo from his normal residence in Vihiga County, to visit his family.
Molo residents have reported the rampant deaths of the consumers of the illicit brew with the makers of the brew well known in the community.
Residents complained that the consumption of this illicit brew has led to the rise of crime in Molo area.
The residents blamed the authorities for laxity in their line of duty, as this crime rate is interfering with their normal activities.
Residents are further pleading with the government to establish more social support groups to enable the youth to have better coping mechanisms instead of indulging in alcohol consumption.
The assistant commissioner by the name Mwangi kinyanjui was laid to rest at Elburgon, Nakuru county.
