How to check KCPE Results online and via text.
Education cabinet secretary is expected to release the Kenya certificate of primary education and KPSEA examinations today, as indicated by a statement from the Kenya national examinations council (KNEC)
According to the ministry of education statistics in primary examinations,over 1 million students sat for the 2023 Kenya certificate of primary exams(KCPE).
Below is How to check KCPE Results online and via text;
Parents, guardians and student should send the candidate’s index number to 40054 immediately after the results are released.
Once the results are announced, students will be able to access them, The service costs Ksh25 per SMS.
Safaricom states,”KCPE results will be out shortly! Once formally announced by Ministry of Education, get candidate results by sending index number to code 40054 @Ksh 25 per SMS.”
When checking immediately after release, the system might experience delays because of crowding, Students are advised to exercise patience.

One can also check online through the KNEC portal
If the SMS option is not working, those interested can visit KNEC’s online portal.
While on the portal, click on the KNEC tab and select the year the candidate sat for the exams.
Enter the index number, submit and the results will appear.
Please note that you need internet connectivity to access the portal and be able to print the results.
One can alternatively visit the ministry of education, county offices or their respective schools , however this takes longer.
