Presidential polls start begin as Azimio la Umoja coalition arrives at Milimani law courts with a truck full of evidence regarding the presidential petition.
The Azimio la Umoja leader,Raila Odinga, last week declared the presidential results null and void.
This is after the independent electoral and boundaries commission chair man, declared William Ruto as the president elect.
According to the results, Kenya kwanza leader,William Ruto took the lead with a score of 50.48 per cent while Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja came in second with 48.85 per cent.
A results the Azimio la Umoja leader denied by declaring the results null and void.
The Azimio leader urge Kenyans to maintain their calm and vigilance as they seek justice regarding the presidential results.
According to polls before the elections, Raila Odinga was leading with 53 per cent but the general elections said the contrary.
Martha Karua who is the Azimio la Umoja deputy stated that, they have the numbers and they were sure of a win. Martha further said that its not over till it is over.
The controversies behind the presidential results started when Azimio la Umoja chief agent, Kanchory declared that the Bomas of Kenya was a crime scene.
He further said that the chair of the independent electoral and boundaries commission did not allow them to verify the forms 34C
A message that was echoed by Independent electoral and boundaries commission deputy, Juliane Cherera.
Ms. Cherera stated that her, together with other commissioners can not take ownership of the presidential results because of the opaque nature of the exercise.
She further said that the independent electoral and boundaries chairman did not involve them in verifying the forms 34C . Therefore the results that Chebukati announced were his.
She then mentioned the 0.01% per cent error that was made during the election equated to 142,000 votes.
The presidential petition wil be presided over by supreme judges by CJ Martha koome
